Responsibilities Position located in a hospital Emergency Room setting Patient population includes ER patients with respiratory care needs Nurses utilize Hamilton equipment for high-flow, BiPAP, and ventilator support Float between ER and inpatient med-surg / telemetry units as scheduled Night shift schedule : 4x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 Every third weekend required Holiday coverage required for either Thanksgiving or Christmas (cannot be the same for both travelers) Uses Cerner EMR Nurses are expected to provide respiratory care for ER patients using specified equipment Team members routinely float between ER and inpatient units according to department needs Royal blue scrubs required No parking costs for staff Holiday assignments rotate to ensure department coverage Requirements Active IN or compact RN license required by start Minimum 3-5 years of ER nursing experience required Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI or MAB, NIHSS, NRP, and PALS (CPI or MAB, not both) TNCC preferred Competency in delivering respiratory care to ER patients Inpatient med-surg / telemetry experience preferred but not required; facility will train Not open to first-time travelers Must live at least 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626257.
