Bilingual (Spanish) Accounting Manager

Our client, a growing construction company based in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced and bilingual (Spanish) Accounting Manager to lead their financial operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role focused on managing all accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic business decisions. Fluency in Spanish and prior experience in the construction industry are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including AP / AR, payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations
• Supervise accounting staff and implement process and system improvements
• Oversee month-end close and deliver timely, accurate financial statements
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Communicate financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax professionals for annual filings
• Manage relationships with banks, insurers, and legal / accounting partners
• Oversee insurance renewals and subcontractor compliance documentation
