Responsibilities

Operate the dishwashing machine to clean and sanitize dishes, trays, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans

Scrape, separate, and organize items prior to washing

Monitor and record dish-machine temperatures; report any low temperatures or malfunctions immediately

Set up and utilize a three-compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing pots and pans

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping floors, and removing trash

Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and supply deliveries

Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety

Support dining and serving area setup as needed

Perform all duties in accordance with food safety and sanitation best practices

Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift

Must be able to push and pull carts, racks, and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance

Must be able to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment

Must be able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate dishwashing equipment

Position Details

Rate of Pay : $15.00 per hour

Status : Full-Time

Hours : Flexible scheduling available

Full-Time : Average of 32+ hours per week after 90 days

Part-Time : Average of 31 or fewer hours per week after 90 days
