Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)

Setting : Hospital – Imaging, Interventional Radiology Unit

Employment Type : Travel Radiologic Technologist Contract

Start Date : April 14, 2024

End Date : July 14, 2024

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : Day shift (3 shifts / week, 15 hours each)

Guaranteed Hours : 45 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630–$1750

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Valid ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist

Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital radiology or imaging jobs

Experience in Operating Room (OR) imaging preferred

Experience in one or more specialties : Vascular, MRI, CT, Dexa, Diagnostic Imaging

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to excel in a fast-paced hospital environment

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Interventional Radiology unit

Assist with imaging procedures in the Operating Room (OR) as needed

Ensure patient safety and comfort during all radiology procedures

Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with hospital protocols

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care

Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
