Help You will be serving as a mentor and technical advisor to junior QCI personnel and provides technical review and certification of quality investigations. You will coordinate directly with customers, external suppliers, and higher authorities on product quality issues, investigation outcomes, and policy interpretations. You will provide briefings to leadership on critical quality issues and systemic process improvements affecting the site's programs. You will identify, assess, and manage program risks. You will develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and corrective action paths to minimize impact to program performance. You will perform analysis by reviewing sketches, engineering drawings and data, pertinent specifications, and available equipment to identify characteristics critical to product acceptability. You will conduct inspections and audits of materials, products, processes, and services for conformance to specifications and requirements. You will analyze data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality or verification program.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : 1. Leading development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) policies and inspection processes across the production areas and programs at the assigned site. 2. Exercising independent judgment to recommend process changes and quality control strategies that reduce systemic defects and mitigate risk. 3. Serving as the site's senior quality representative during cross-functional root cause analyses, corrective action planning, and high-visibility quality investigations. 4. Acting as the primary Action Point for customer complaints in product quality deficiency reports (PQDR / AIDR), sometimes involving significant cost, safety, or fleet impact. 5. Monitoring quality trends at the assigned site and develops proactive risk mitigation strategies. 6. Leading site quality audits and internal compliance assessments. 7. Developing and delivering advanced quality training for Quality Control Inspectors (QCIs), Production Artisans, and Program Managers at the assigned site.
