Beds : Outpatient clinic

  • Minimum Experience : 1.5 years of nursing experience - system requirement
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
  • Average # of patients seen per day -

    • LPN - Approximately 15-25 patients per day with CA support

  • Travelers must live >

    • 100 miles away from facility

  • Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
  • Patient Types :

    • Medical Oncology / Chemotherapy Infusion

  • Required Certifications :

    • RN : BLS for Medical Oncology Clinic

    OCN preferred, but not required

  • LPN : BLS
  • Required Education :

    • RN : Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

  • LPN : Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
  • Skills required :

    • RN : Chart checks, Rooming patients : VS, weight, Review of systems check, medication reconciliation

    Must be comfortable to be trained in other supportive areas, as needed, to include but not limited to : Assisting with Physicians, Referrals, etc.

  • LPN : Cart checks, Rooming patients : Vital Signs, Review of systems check, Medication reconciliation
  • Support on the Unit :

    • CA
