Urgent Care Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Urgent Care Physician Locum to work in coverage in Quincy, Illinois. Looking forward to starting April 1 st , 2026. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.

The Urgent Care Role(s) :

• Need : Full-time. 12 shifts per month. 4-shifts in a block (typically)
• Schedule : 6a-6p or 10a-10p
• Scope : Solo (from 6a-9a)
• EMR : EPIC
• Duties : Walk-in Clinic Averages 60-70 patients per day (between three providers).
• Cases : Some Ortho, x-rays, splitting, suturing, foreign body eye removal, cough sore throat, UTI, STD testing / pelvic exam, flu, rashes, etc.
• Procedures : Splinting, suturing required
