Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - FT Day

Our meticulously clean building is conveniently located in a park-like setting on Des Moines' East side, near shopping centers, hospitals, medical providers and I-235. We are proud of our staff to resident ratio that allows us to provide quality care to our residents. As a continuum of care campus, we offer independent living, assisted living, long term care, and skilled nursing care including speech, physical and occupational therapies.

There are Full-Time (Day), benefit eligible positions available.

Hours : 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm

Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities :

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
• Administers medications and / or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness / response.
• Monitor residents and reports any change in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor performance of CNA staff.
• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.
