People Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our team at DeepL as soon as possible! With your structured way of working, your organizational talent, and your experience in the administrative HR area, you will support us in bringing new colleagues on board and driving existing processes forward to achieve great goals together. You will join an efficient and very well-organized People Operations Service & Support team of six, which is continuously growing just like the company, and which will realize great projects together with you.

Your responsibilities

Global Operations Management : Serve as the primary contact for employees worldwide, addressing inquiries related to payroll, benefits, global mobility, and PTO. Ensure adherence to processes in compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and procedures.

Employee Experience : Improve employee experience by managing essential HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and engagement initiatives.

HRIS Management : Oversee the management and optimization of our HR Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate and efficient data management.

Preliminary Payroll : Support our payroll experts with payroll-related tasks, such as payroll preparation or creating reports.

Project Management : Manage cross-functional projects within P&C and collaborate with external departments like Finance, Legal, Office Management, and Team Assistants.

Compliance and Policy Implementation : Ensure all HR processes and policies are compliant with local and international regulations.

Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the people operations function.

Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and effective communication of HR initiatives.

Qualities we look for

Very good knowledge of HR practices, policies, and regulations, in an international (tech) environment

Proficiency in using HRIS and other HR technology tools.

Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and ownership.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Fluency in English is required
