Residential Front Load Drivers are responsible for servicing customers on an assigned route(s) with the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. This position requires the ability to operate different trucks, so excellent driving / maneuvering skills are essential.

Responsibilities of Position :

• Operate trucks in a safe and compliant manner to provide trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying trash / recycling carts into truck and hauling to disposal site
• May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings
• Replace trash / recycling carts neatly at the curb or designated area
• Clean up waste spills and overflows
• Maintain and update route sheets
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab
• Conduct daily pre-trip / post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body while following proper Lock Out / Tag Out procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility : This position will not manage employees
