Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Job Title : Quality Control Technician (DIRECT HIRE)

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Pay Range : $23.60

Shift : 2nd Shift - 2pm-1030pm

What's the Job?

Maintain and enforce quality and safety standards throughout the production process, from raw material receipt to finished product.

Perform inspections, testing, and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP, and company policies.

Manage and document quality concerns, lead corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Operate laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, refractometers, and texture analyzers, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

Lead GMP audits, mock recalls, and food safety audits to uphold the organization's commitment to delivering safe, high-quality products.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required.

2-3 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.

2+ years of laboratory technician or QA experience preferred.

Background in chemistry, biology, or food science is a plus.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in computer recordkeeping.
