Key Job Details - Connecticut Healthcare Jobs Location : Bridgeport, CT 06610 (Connecticut nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 16 weeks (11 / 17 / 2025 - 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : Days, 5x8-hour shifts (9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 40 Call : 2-3 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule; weekday call sign-up available Setting : Operating Room, Level II Trauma Center Charting System : EPIC Free Parking Estimated Weekly Pay : $2560 - $2750 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR RN jobs) Trauma nursing experience required (Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I preferred) Active, unencumbered Connecticut Registered Nurse license (CT RN license) BLS certification required Ability to scrub and circulate most surgical specialties : general, gynecology, urology, robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, vascular, thoracic Proficiency with EPIC charting system Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred Travel nursing experience and Level I trauma experience preferred Must provide at least one professional reference Not accepting local candidates (must live more than 75 miles from facility) Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures : general, GYN, urology, robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, vascular, thoracic Deliver trauma patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment Participate in on-call rotation (weekend and weekday calls) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : IV, PT, RT, radiology, pharmacy, social services Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC Ensure patient safety and compliance with universal protocols and infection control standards Complete orientation and required modules prior to start Why Bridgeport, CT?
