We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based setting near Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment.
Position Highlights :
- Duration : January 1, 2025 February 28, 2025
- Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities during the week and 24-hour call on weekends.
- Volume : 811 cases per day, focusing on paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
- Facility Type : Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual emergency room volume of 55,000.
- Team : Collaborate with 2 on-site interventional radiologists and a larger system-wide team of 25+ professionals. Standard IR support staff included.
Requirements :
Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR).Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR) is highly preferred.Active Washington State medical license.ACLS certification.Clean background for expedited credentialing.Skills & Procedures Needed :
Diagnostic imaging : Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound.Interventional procedures : Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty.Additional Details :
EMR : EPIC for hospital documentation; Philips ISite platform for teleradiology.Credentialing process : 60120 days.Patient population : Adults, including geriatric and adolescent patients.Why Apply?
