Job Summary
This position provides comprehensive program support including coordinating, and implementing college and community programs, activities, performances, and events. Includes coordinating logistics, managing marketing and outreach communications, supporting student engagement, and collaborating with faculty, staff and community partners. The position also provides programmatic support such as managing databases; monitoring budgets; and managing and maintaining websites and social media platforms. This role emphasizes collaboration, assisting colleagues, and ensuring departmental activities are effectively supported.
1. Coordinates and implements programs, training sessions, activities, events, and performances. Coordinates logistics such as scheduling, facilities, staffing, catering, equipment, and marketing. Assists colleagues in planning and supports a coordinated team delivery.
2. Provides general program support and customer service to students, faculty, staff, and community members. Serves as liaison to ensure successful execution of events and activities. Collaborates with multiple employees to align support across the division.
3. Monitors budget activities and expenditures, ensuring proper posting of receipts and deposits; processes expenditure paperwork; reconciles accounts; makes recommendations regarding budgetary requirements and allocations. Generates and provides budget reports and tracking support to division staff and communicates updates to team members.
4. Participates in a variety of meetings, events, conferences, and / or other related activities to receive and convey information. Shares updates and coordinates follow-up actions with team members to support collective progress.
5. Assists with the compilation, reporting, and tracking of various types of data and program methods. Compiles and tracks events, attendance and program participation data. Provides data reports to support multiple staff and division planning needs.
6. Supports marketing and outreach activities including managing social media platforms, website administration, creating promotional and collateral materials, and other communications. Includes creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms, monitoring social media channels for inquiries, comments, and feedback, and ensuring timely and appropriate responses. Designs, develops, and updates website content, ensuring it is visually appealing and user-friendly. Coordinates with team members to ensure marketing and outreach efforts align with division priorities.
7. Coordinates administrative activities including contracts, vendor relations, policies and procedures; prepares correspondence, form, and documentation; and maintains program files and records. Provides clerical and organizational assistance to multiple staff and support team efficiency.

Required Training and Experience
Associate’s degree or two-year technical certificate, and up to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Physical Requirements
Positions in this class typically require : stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Light Work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and / or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
Position requires some evening and weekend work.
