Position Summary
Demonstrates knowledge of operational work processes within the Distribution Center, such as loss profiles, process improvement mindsets, and practical experience. Creates strategic leadership partnerships with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Process Improvement Manager to drive end-to-end improvements. Manages workloads of Process Quality Engineers to balance network-driven projects and specific improvements. Applies continuous improvement tools like Root Cause Analysis, Time and Motion Studies, Statistical Process Control, Process Deviations, 5S, and Six Sigma to eliminate losses and sustain process improvements. Supports the Walmart Performance System by engaging leaders and demonstrating program effectiveness through problem-solving skills and process improvement thinking. Supports the Daily Management System review and response process at various levels through root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation. Collaborates on network standard implementation and deviation process. Drives execution of business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing plans, removing barriers, providing resources, and measuring progress. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Promotes company policies, procedures, and values, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of ethics and integrity. Ensures business needs are met by evaluating current plans and initiatives, and participating in community outreach.

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000 to $192,000, with additional bonuses and position-specific compensation such as regional pay zones and stock options.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 4 years of experience in Continuous Improvement or related area, or 6 years of relevant experience. 4 years of team leadership experience. Knowledge of Quality Management System elements, such as Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and KPIs. Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable savings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include conducting work measurement, predetermined time systems, and related analysis. Advanced degrees such as a Master's in Business Administration or Computer Engineering are preferred.
