Registered Nurse – Home Health (13-Week Contract)

Location : Tuscaloosa, AL

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (40 hrs / week)

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

On-Call : 1–2 days / week (subject to staffing and branch needs)

Travel Radius : Tuscaloosa area coverage

Productivity : 28 units / week

Requirements

Active RN License (State of Alabama) – Required

Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience – Required

OASIS documentation experience – Required

Home Health Nursing : Minimum 2+ years – Required

CPR Certification (AHA) – Required

Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance – Required

CHPN certification – Preferred

BSN – Preferred

Graduate of an accredited ADN or Nursing Diploma program – Required

Job Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the home health setting

Perform comprehensive assessments and complete OASIS documentation

Coordinate care and communicate with physicians, therapists, and case managers

Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care

Travel to patients’ homes throughout the Tuscaloosa region

Participate in rotating on-call schedule

Locals accepted with the pay rate of $50 / hr
