• Work on 6th floor medical surgical unit with 33 beds
• Patient ratios : 6 : 1 during day shifts, 7 : 1 during night shifts
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Float to other appropriate areas when needed in rotation
• Work with equipment including IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Unit staffing includes 3 techs per shift and unit secretary on day shift
• 4 positions available
• Provide comprehensive medical surgical nursing care to diverse patient population
