PRN Assisted Living CNA / CHHA

Join our compassionate and dedicated team as a PRN Assisted Living Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA). In this role, you will provide essential care and support to residents in a vibrant assisted living community. As a PRN staff member, you will have the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, making a significant impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating, while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Provide mobility support, including helping residents walk, use wheelchairs, or transfer between beds and chairs.
• Monitor and document residents' health and wellness, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Foster a loving and supportive environment by engaging residents in conversation and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Uphold the community's standards of cleanliness and organization by helping maintain residents' rooms and common areas.
• Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a CNA or CHHA in the state of New Jersey.
• Previous experience in assisted living or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for working with the elderly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Schedule :
• PRN (pro re nata) basis - work hours and shifts will vary based on staffing needs and your availability. Our shifts run 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a.
