BJC Medical Group Cardiology at Belleville is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cardiology Medical Director to lead our team based at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.  This is a great opportunity to utilize your leadership skills, oversee clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Practice and Position Details :

• Collaborate closely with hospital administrators, physicians and staff
• Improve patient outcomes and expand cardiology services
• 4 hours a week Medical Directorship responsibilities
• Join established team of highly trained Cardiologists and Nurse Practitioners
• APPs assist in clinic and inpatient rounding
• Cardiologist Hospitalist team manages inpatient rounding
• Dedicated Medical Assistant for each cardiologist
• Experienced and friendly support staff and Practice Manager
• 2-3 days in Cath Lab; 1-2 days in Clinic
• Dedicated Cath Lab time
• Main clinic located on the hospital campus - close to cath lab
• Strong on-site support from cardiac and vascular support team
• Growing Stuctural program

The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
