Bakery Associate / Decorator

Bakery Associates are responsible for preparing baked goods and displaying said goods and deli items. Bakers will also operate mixers, ovens, scales, slicers, fryers, as well as wrap and price items within the bakery department. They will ice pastries, decorate cakes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management. Bakery Associates are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store.

Bakery Associates may be cross-trained to proof and bake bread, rolls and other bakery products. Bakery Associates may be cross-trained to proof, fry and finish doughnuts. Early morning availability is required for baking and frying tasks. Experience is preferred but not required.
