Pay : $120,000 - $130,000 per year, dependent on experience and education

Job Overview

The Director of Business Development reports to the Managing Director of Emerging Climatetech and leads the Business Development team at MassCEC. The Business Development team helps MA based climatetech companies identify & engage with key programs & partners to accelerate the commercialization of their technology and growth of their business. The Business Development team provides this support across three offerings :

• Climatetech Tax Credit Program : Awarding tax credits to MA based climatetech companies for job creation and capital expenditures on climatetech facilities.
• Business Front Door : Helping MA based climatetech companies to efficiently navigate state-funded tax credits, grants, and other financial programs.
• Climatetech Concierge : Helping MA based climatetech companies to identify and engage with key commercialization partners.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the strategic vision and administration of MassCEC’s Climatetech Tax Credit Program

Oversee MassCEC’s participation in the Executive Office of Economic Development’s (EOED) Business Front Door (BFD) initiative

Oversee the strategic vision of MassCEC’s Climatetech Concierge service and serve as the primary operator of the service
