Senior Product Manager B2C Messaging - TikTok Instant Messaging

Responsibilities

Team Introduction. The Global Product & RD team is building core TikTok products to ensure TikTok delivers the best product experience to all of our users, build the most attractive features to help users enjoy their time on TikTok, earn trust in privacy protection, and more. The Global Product team is growing exponentially. The business lines range from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more.

• Responsible for driving the growth of TikTok direct messaging products, focusing on improving the messaging experience for TikTok businesses and creators.
• Develop a comprehensive product roadmap in the focus area, align with stakeholders, and work with cross‑functional teams to execute product plans end‑to‑end.
• Define and establish key success metrics and product impact, ensuring a data‑driven approach to product management.
• Set up best practice in the way of working with teams including Algo, Data Science, UX, and RD across different time zones to ensure highly effective collaborations.
• Deliver a world‑class business messaging experience to help TikTok business succeed on the platform.

Job Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165,120 – $414,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
