ICU RN Job Details Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Location : Shiloh, Illinois (62269) - Greater St. Louis area Facility Type : Magnet-designated Acute Care Hospital Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - 6 beds, 1 : 1-1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 (3x12-hour shifts) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025, End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Charting System : EPIC Scrub Color : Navy Parking : Free on-site Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Float : May float to Medical Cardiology, Med / Surg units, and affiliate hospitals Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1890-$1940 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Current Illinois RN license (required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS EPIC charting experience preferred Ability to work every other weekend Self-motivated and able to work independently; Tele-ICU intensivist consult available Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from facility Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) References preferred at time of submittal ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 6-bed ICU Manage patients with medical, respiratory, neuro / surgical, and high-acuity surgical conditions Monitor and manage ventilators, IV drips, and advanced cardiac / medical devices Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response Float to Medical Cardiology, Med / Surg, or affiliate hospitals as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing training Uphold hospital policies and ensure patient safety at all times Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Shiloh, Illinois!
