About Us

Grover King VFW Post 1115 proudly serves the veterans and community of Hillsville and Carroll County. We host local events, flea markets, and community programs that honor service and bring people together. Were looking for a dependable, motivated Installation Manager to join our team and help keep our facilities and events running smoothly.

What Youll Do

Manage setup and breakdown for all Post events, flea markets, and community functions

Supervise installation crews or volunteers during event preparation

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and Post leadership to ensure safety and quality

Maintain equipment and perform minor facility repairs

Track supplies, tools, and installation materials

Support logistics and facility operations for large community gatherings

Ensure all installations comply with safety and VFW standards

What Were Looking For

High school diploma or GED (technical or trade training a plus)

3+ years of facility, construction, or event setup experience

Hands-on skills in basic maintenance, electrical, or carpentry work

Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours during events
