We are seeking a LocumsPsychiatry Physician to provide part-time psychiatric care in San Jose, CA.This role involves performing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoingmedication management for developmentally disabled patients with co-occurringmental health disorders. The ideal candidate will be compassionate,detail-oriented, and experienced in both adult and / or child psychiatry.
Compensation : $225-$240 Per hour depending upon experience
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for referred patients.
- Provide specialized psychiatric and medical services, including prescribing and monitoring controlled substances.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Deliver qualified, reimbursable services under Medicare, Medi-Cal, Regional Centers, County Mental Health, and other funding sources.
- Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and case review meetings as needed.
Requirements :
