Alameda Corpus Christi TX 78411 Floor : 2 South Building : Doctors Regional General Information Number of Beds – 12 Number of Staff – 20 Type of staff : Day Shift – 1 chg, 3-4 rn, 1 pca, 0-2 sitter Night Shift – 1 chg, 2-3 rn, 0-1 pca, 0-2 sitter Patient Ratios – maximum 4 : 1 Type of equipment – standard EMR – meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : ICU experience 1+ years within the last year Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time Preferred or nice to have : 2+ years experience working Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown / ICU List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Care of Intermediate Care Patients Standard nursing skills : IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion / maintenance, central line maintenance; medication administration; communication with all members of care team; documentation in EHR, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, NGT insertion / maintenance, EKG interpretation, titration of some drips Best personality Fit : Friendly, positive, patient-centered, team-focused Dress Code : Scrub Color / Attire - Royal Blue scrubs Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. n / a Weekends and On call(if any) No on-call, weekends as needed on unit RN No on-call, weekends as needed on unit Floating Area(s) : Med / surg / tele units
