Technical Records Specialist 1 - Veterans Services

The Idaho Division of Veterans Services is recruiting for a full-time Technical Records Specialist 1 position at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls. The employee in this position works full-time, Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. The ideal candidate must have the ability to adapt easily to change, ensure quality work, and be able to maintain confidentiality. In this position an employee will analyze, research, forecast, and reconcile invoices and other financial documents; ensure compliance with laws, rules, and policies; perform related work. The employee will work with staff, insurance companies, and residents verifying benefits, filling out authorization forms, and keeping records current. Incumbents may also deal with public officials, business representatives, and / or the general public to identify and resolve non-routine issues.
