Remote Medical Refunds Specialist

A company is looking for a Remote Medical Refunds Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Process refunds to patient and insurance accounts and prepare daily credit balance reports

Analyze and correct issues causing credit balances and compile refund requests with necessary documentation

Communicate refund issues and provide support for discrepancies via email and other channels

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

1-3 years of accounts receivable experience in a hospital or medical setting required

1-3 years of experience with Managed Care Contracts preferred

Experience with payer reimbursement policies and healthcare revenue cycle operations preferred

Familiarity with Federal programs preferred
