Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

A mid-size fiberglass manufacturer is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment, including conveyors, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, seals, gearboxes, cylinders, and valves. You will also handle electrical maintenance tasks involving PLCs, I / Os, limit switches, VFDs, sensors, three-phase motors, and relays. This role promises daily challenges and opportunities to work with proprietary equipment built in-house.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Perform electrical maintenance on PLCs, I / Os, limit switches, VFDs, sensors, three-phase motors, and relays.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as conveyors, bearings, sprockets, chains, belts, seals, gearboxes, cylinders, and valves.
• Replace and wire three-phase motors.
• Utilize hydraulic and pneumatic experience to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Engage in electrical troubleshooting and repair activities.

Work Environment

The position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, currently undergoing renovations. The night shift schedule is from Monday to Friday, 5 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 AM, with overtime and weekend work most weekends.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 / hr.
