• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• Full-time position with 6-week scheduling periods
• 6 weekend shifts required within each 6-week period
• 2 call shifts required within each 6-week period
• Floating required to Medical / Surgical, Behavioral Health, Joint, and Emergency Department units as needed
• Care for medical, surgical, and respiratory patients
• Required certifications : Current BLS and ACLS certification
• RN License in state of employment or compact state required
• PALS and CPI certification preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
• Complete annual competency verification requirements
