Position Summary
The Account Executive – Capital Equipment is responsible for driving growth and maintaining the sales of the organization's capital equipment product lines and associated products in designated geographic areas. The role pursues new business, supports product distribution channels, and develops existing accounts while identifying current and future industry needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Accelerate revenue growth by providing comprehensive support to current and future customers through identifying emerging market opportunities, optimizing territory planning, formulating impactful account strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to execute dynamic, profitable, results-driven sales plans and promotional initiatives.
- Manage successful administrative sales functions to ensure superior customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
- Conduct regular on-site visits with both existing and prospective customers to assess needs, deliver solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
- Serve as the primary customer interface, fostering account growth and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.
- Drive the expansion of both new and existing sales accounts by identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
- Coordinate and actively participate in trade shows, customer sales exhibits, and industry conferences to promote brand presence and drive growth within the designated territory.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients to uncover their purchasing cycles, identify specific requirements, and establish strong supplier-customer partnerships.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual sales plan aligned with organizational strategies and objectives to drive business growth.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales revenue targets by developing opportunities within the assigned market and converting them into successful outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver detailed sales information and proposals tailored to customer needs and expectations.
- Identify key decision-makers, determine budgets, and analyze purchasing criteria for each assigned account to ensure strategic alignment and successful sales execution.
- Secure and process customer orders, carefully considering delivery schedules and inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Lead strategic planning and execution initiatives within the sales division to enhance overall profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor pricing strategies and product discounting to maintain accuracy, accountability, and competitive positioning in the marketplace.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting department to assist in, when necessary, the timely acquisition of accounts receivable and ensure financial accuracy.

Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or related experience and / or training.Minimum of 2-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or B2B sales.Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents and effectively present information.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to rapidly learn new software systems.Strong business acumen and advanced communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and expectations to ensure product accuracy.Strong sales experience required.Ability to foster and maintain relationships and to work in a multitasking environment.Effective collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams and adaptability to evolving market dynamics.Required Skills

Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.
