NEMT Wheelchair Van Driver

We're looking for dedicated drivers to join our team and help make a difference in people's lives. As a Wheelchair Van Driver, you'll safely transport patients to and from their homes, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working with people, and values safety and reliability. Contract regulations require clean background, driving record and must be at 23 years of age.

Competitive Pay : Top drivers earn $50k$65k annually. Starting pay $16.50-18.00 / hourly, weekly pay, frequent overtime opportunities, discretionary bonuses, extra earning potential through tips from our large private-pay customer base.

Your responsibilities include : safely transporting clients and assisting them in and out of the vehicle, ensuring wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before driving, providing courteous, professional support to clients and caregivers during trips, keeping vehicles clean inside and out (car washing membership provided), completing pre- and post-trip inspections using company software, following all company safety protocols and policies, staying connected with dispatch and adapting to changing schedules, and representing the company with a positive, helpful attitude at all times.

Physical requirements include : ability to lift, push, pull, and assist clients as needed, comfortable with bending, reaching, and extended driving.

What we're looking for includes : a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR screening, dependability : on-time, in uniform, and ready to work, patience, professionalism, and the ability to stay calm in emergencies, flexibility for rotating weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts, willingness to drive in all-weather conditions.
