Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented , working in the Houston and outskirt areas, i.e Woodlands, Sugarland, Baytown & Katy Medical Centers, to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Flexible to work PRN shifts 6p-midnight, midnight to 6a, 6a-pm and pm-6a and shifts on weekends. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and / or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC” or “LPC-A”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).
Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)
Must have a valid driver’s license
EXPERIENCE
Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy / counseling.
Experience providing individual, group and family therapy / counseling.
Mobile assessment experience preferred.
