Corporate Accounting Analyst

The Corporate Accounting Analyst will assist in the corporate general ledger accounting functions.

Position Description

• Prepare and analyze consolidated corporate financial statements on a monthly basis
• Review daily / nightly journal entries and their effect on the general ledger
• Prepare monthly consolidating entries
• Assist payroll with proper recording of entries
• Work closely with other department personnel to ensure accounts accurately reflect activity
• Assist in the preparation of supporting financial schedules for annual financial statement audit, regulatory filings, and other periodic reporting requirements
• Assist in recording of capital expenditure activity
• Make correcting entries as necessary
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Provide regular and informative communication to management to improve ability to make key business decisions
• Review accounts for accuracy and trend analysis
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Other duties as assigned
