Description

The Climate Equity and Impact team delivers heating and energy services and upgrades to residents of Boston, Brookline, Newton, and Mystic Valley. The Utility Program Data Specialist collaborates with program managers to collect, organize, validate, and input data into designated energy efficiency program reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Input data entry of job completions in timely fashion to align with funding source monthly accrual process.
• Generate, and track queries to address problematic data identified during data review activities and apply proper modification / correction to the database.
• Coordinate status of job payments with Climate Equity and Impact Business Operations team.
• Ensure high quality utility program data and billing systems work.
• Gather and input data for funding source reporting processes.
• Create applications within funding source software for service data entry.
• Ensure internal job completions are accounted for each month with respect to funding source accrual process.
• Work with managers and Business Operations teams to track in-process & completed projects, as well as payments.
• Prepare complete and accurate reports using eAssist in preparation for Assistant Director of Fiscal Services.
• Submit exported complete reports from eAssist into funding source systems.
• Oversee the daily quality control of all areas.
• Coordinate with Business Solutions Specialist and communicate when reporting and invoices are sent to funding source.
• Attend and participate in departmental, organization-wide and other meetings as needed.
• Liaise with partner organizations and vendors to ensure timely reporting and processing of invoices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to troubleshoot, design, implement, and manage systems that contribute to an efficient working environment.

Expected Salary : $55,000 USD. Due to funding restrictions, team parity, and our strong focus on equity, this salary is thoughtfully aligned with the duties expected for this role and cannot be negotiated.
