Scientific Journals Managing Editor

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking a scientific journals managing editor. This position is responsible for researching, writing, editing and managing production of ASRT’s two scientific journals. The role also serves as a writer and editor for other publications and communication vehicles when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage all production processes and publication schedules, including planning journal issues, delegating assignments, ensuring continuity, editing copy, correcting proofs, proofreading final copy and collaborating with external vendors and internal colleagues.
• Facilitate subject matter reviews via the eJournalPress submission system.
• Assist with author recruitment initiatives. Solicit manuscripts, review papers and publish the work of radiologic technologists.
