Looking for Surgery Technicians / Assistants to cover on-call hours, ALL SCHEDULED SHIFT HOURS WILL BE PAID! This is full time position / 40 hours per week.
The Position :
The primary responsibility of the On-call Surgery Assistant is to provide overnight out of hours support for emergent cases through the surgery department practicing the highest quality surgical support for the patients and team members. The position is primarily an on-call position and report to the hospital for emergent surgical / anesthetic cases. The Surgery Assistant needs to be able to appropriately handle critical and emergent cases with the team including the anesthetist, surgeon and other on-call team members.

COMPENSATION :
Veterinary Assistants starting $22-$27 / hour
Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $25-$30 / hr, $5000 Sign on Bonus for CVTs!

Requirements :
The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, self-sufficient, independent, compassionate and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Candidates should exhibit professional behavior, possess exceptional customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
Minimum 3 years in surgical exclusive experience. Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician in order to be hired as a Technician.
