Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of general, vascular, and echo experience and current RDMS and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital environment performing general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound exams
  • Shift schedule is Wednesday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break
  • 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Call is required for this position
  • Must work with patients of various age groups
  • Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging and patient care services using sonographic technology
  • Responsible for patient safety protocols and communication of diagnostic results
  • Functions as first line interface with patients to meet their imaging needs
  • Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
  • No local candidates permitted

  • Minimum of 2 years recent sonographer experience in a U.S. hospital
  • Graduate of an accredited sonography program required
  • Current RDMS and AHA BLS certifications required
  • Experience in general, vascular, and echo ultrasound procedures required
  • Must have active license if applicable
  • Must be able to provide two manager or supervisor references verifying recent experience
  • Must have U.S. Social Security Number
