About the Role :
The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) plays a critical role in supporting the healthcare team by safely administering medications to residents in long-term care settings. This position ensures that all medication administration complies with established protocols and regulatory standards, thereby promoting resident health and well-being. The CMA collaborates closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential to accurately document medication administration and report any concerns promptly. Ultimately, the CMA contributes to a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
