Overview
As the Director of Strategy Deployment, you will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy Deployment and play a critical role in translating corporate strategy into actionable plans and KPIs / OKRs. You will lead a high-performing team and partner cross-functionally to ensure seamless alignment and execution across the business units.
What you will be doing
Lead, coach and develop a team of strategy program management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, growth and high performance
- Build team capabilities through mentorship, structured development plans, and ongoing feedback
- Drive team engagement and psychological safety during change and transformation initiatives
- Working closely with VP, Corporate Strategy Deployment to operationalize Business Units strategy into operational plans, ensuring clear prioritization, milestones, and success metrics
- Drive implementation of key strategic initiatives in collaboration with business units and functional teams
- Relationship builder to foster strong partnership with cross-functional leaders and other enabling functions to drive process improvements, strategy adoption and enable execution
- Partner with change management and communication teams to assess organizational readiness for change and prepare teams for successful strategy rollouts.
- Develop, and manage dashboards, OKRs / KPIs and reporting tools to monitor progress against strategic objectives
- Drive executive-level updates and insights to the VP, Corporate Strategy Deployment and senior leaders
- Provide data-driven recommendations to adjust plans or investments based on business performance and evolving priorities
- Champion a mindset of continuous improvement and adaptability within the strategy deployment team
- Experience with OKR framework and agile planning methodologies
- Familiarity with post-merger integration is a plus, and transformation or portfolio management
- Ability to highly function in a matrixed, or decentralized environment
What will make you successful
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or a related fieldMBA or M.S. graduate degree strong preferred15+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic program management10+ years of direct people management experience, with a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams and moraleExperienced working in a matrixed, and remote first organizationKey Skills and Competencies
Strong business acumen with deep understanding of strategic planning, execution, change management and proven ability to translate high-level strategy goal into actionable plans and deliver resultsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills, able to influence and build trust across levels and functionsExceptional communication skills, written, verbal and presentation, tailored to executive and operational teamsComfortable navigating ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced environmentsPMP certified, or experience in strategic framework, planning tools and performance tracking / dashboardBased on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements : base salary range of $156,000-$195,000 and eligible for benefitsWhat you can expect next
