Job descriptionFabrication Engineer located in North Grafton, MA. This person will be responsible for Programming CNC machines using Mastercam / Solidworks / AutoCAD software to create programs. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to create machining programs. Work closely with machinists and fabricators to ensure smooth production processes. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications. Assist in routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiencies.
Requirements
- Quality Control and Project Management skills
- Knowledge of Welding and Machining best practices
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge / Experience AISC and MASS DOT is a plus
