Assistant Safety Manager

The Assistant Safety Manager will assist the National Senior Director of Safety with ensuring work and job site safety, compliance, documentation, training and reporting.

Your key responsibilities include :

• Conduct on-site safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments
• Plan, implement, and conduct safety and compliance training programs
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace
• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures
• Provide monthly reporting on key safety metrics
• Administer employee access to safety system, learning management and OSHA training
• Maintain division / state specific Safety Manuals and distribution
• Maintain an annual calendar of training events and critical path milestones
• Identify monthly safety discussion topics and assist divisions with trainings
• Influence others, through consistent model management : "walks the talk" philosophies, solid business fundamentals and sound ethics
• Supervise all aspects of the construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Compensation :

Century Communities Inc intends to offer the selected candidate an annual base salary in the range of $70,000 - $80,000 with bonus potential. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and the Company's 401k plan.
