Journeyman Installer

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a  Journeyman Installer  to lead and execute structured cabling installations on hyperscale data center projects. This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage systems, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various hand tools
• Safely use hand and power tools after proper training (drills, crimpers, cutters, etc.)
• Lift, position, and fasten objects
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools for electrical trades
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment
• Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and procedures
• Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.
