As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, visitors, and patients. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service through positive communication. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols. Interact with visitors, staff, and patients in a courteous manner, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols. Support Allied Universal and client leadership by following established protocols and reporting procedures as required. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
