Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment Location : Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont nursing jobs) Estimated Weekly Pay : $2200–$2360 per week Assignment Length : 16-32 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 4 / 5 / 2026) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (ED) at a large, teaching hospital Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (Day / Night); flexible scheduling; every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 Holiday Coverage : Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day) On-Site Position Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for ER RN jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Experience in large (500 bed), teaching hospital settings EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required) Prior travel nursing experience preferred; open to nurses with experience in multiple large ERs Required certifications : AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), TNCC Preferred certifications : CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training Reliable transportation required (personal or rental vehicle recommended; public transportation not accessible) Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April (Vermont healthcare jobs) ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment Adapt to rotating day / night shifts, flexible scheduling, weekends, and holidays Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination Maintain compliance with certifications and hospital protocols Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development Why Choose Burlington, Vermont?
