The Opportunity
Were looking for a Senior Tax Advisor to join our collaborative team and lead the delivery of high-quality tax preparation, planning, and advisory services. This position combines technical expertise with client interaction and team mentorship in a professional, relationship-focused environment.
Youll work closely with financial planners, client account managers, and investment specialists to coordinate tax strategies within each clients overall financial plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, trust, estate, and gift tax returns.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax projections and multi-year plans.
- Research and interpret complex tax issues, ensuring compliance and practical application.
- Identify and implement process improvements in tax preparation and review workflows.
- Develop and present tax planning strategies in collaboration with account managers, planners, and investment professionals.
- Maintain organized, complete, and accurate tax files per firm standards.
- Support and present tax strategies and findings during client meetings.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical review for Tax Advisors and Tax Associates.
- Participate in special projects and internal reviews as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA preferred (active license, candidacy, or equivalent experience considered).5+ years of tax preparation and review experience, preferably with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, or estates.Proficiency with Lacerte, BNA, and RIA Checkpoint (or comparable software).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary : $65,000$100,000 annually, depending on experience.Bonus : Annual performance-based opportunity, typically around 20% of base salary.Benefits include :Medical, dental, and vision insurance
