• Traveler experience accepted; first-time travelers welcome
• Strong experience in fetal heart monitoring
• Required to float to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, or assisting roles as needed

Description :

The position involves providing care in a LDRP unit, assisting both mother and baby.

This unit typically experiences about 100 births per year, indicating a lower volume of cases.

Candidates will encounter a variety of patient diagnoses and may handle higher acuity or high-risk cases.

It is essential for candidates to have strong experience due to the autonomy required in this small department.

Staffing ratios are 1 : 1-2 during shifts.

Weekend shifts will be determined by departmental needs.

Documentation and medication management are conducted through specific electronic health record systems.

Candidates should be prepared for a collaborative environment while providing patient care.

All candidates must be comfortable floating to other units based on skill sets and patient census.

Travel pairs are allowed but must work on different units.

References from previous supervisors within the last year are highly preferred.

There are specific fatigue policies in place to ensure staff well-being.
