A respected Commercial General Contractor with a strong local reputation and a healthy backlog is hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on $5M+ commercial projects . What You'll Do
- Own the jobsite from mobilization to closeout : schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and punch to keep work flowing.
- Maintain up-to-date project schedules (3-week look-aheads) and proactively remove roadblocks.
- Enforce company and OSHA safety standards ; drive zero-incident culture.
- Oversee QA / QC : drawings / specs compliance, RFIs, submittals, and field documentation.
- Run effective daily huddles and weekly OAC meetings ; keep clients informed and confident.
- Manage start-up, commissioning, and turnover with complete closeout documentation.
What You Bring
35+ years as a Superintendent on commercial projects (healthcare, office, retail, K-12 / higher ed, municipal, light industrial, etc.).Proven wins on $5M+ projects with schedule reliability and cost control.Strong field leadership : you coach crews, align subs, and anticipate risks.Deep knowledge of means & methods, sequencing, and site logistics .Command of safety procedures and regulations with a track record of enforcement.Proficiency with Procore (or similar), Bluebeam, MS Project / Primavera , and standard construction docs.Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Why You'll Love It
