Ford Sales Manager
Our Heritage Ford team is looking for a motivated and people-focused Sales Manager to help lead our sales department to new heights! In this role, you'll partner with the GSM to plan, organize, and oversee all Ford Sales operationsdriving results, supporting your team, and ensuring every customer experience is exceptional. You'll play a key part in guiding the sales staff, tracking performance, and keeping our dealership's momentum strong.
- This position offers a commission-based pay plan.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan, implement, supervise, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate a wide range of specific vehicle sales functions and activities that are part of daily sales department operations.As a co-supervisor, oversee a sales staff of 8 to 12 employees.Perform a variety of inventory management functions, such as : supervise / perform weekly inventory count; cross reference physical inventory with office records; ensure proper lot and inventory maintenance and effective showroom displays; ensure building / lot security; arrange for vehicle swaps with other dealerships, etc.Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.Aim for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect new-vehicle sales.Monitor all sales operations on a continuing basis, and deal with a variety of problems that arise.Perform various customer relations functions involving complaints or unusual problems.Perform all of the duties of a sales representative as needed.As a Member of the H-Team You'll Enjoy :

Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree in business administration, marketing or other related field preferred.Three to five years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.Sound supervisory skills, with some supervisory experience desirable.Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational and time management skills.Substantial understanding of automotive dealership sales operations.Excellent sales skills, including negotiation and closing skills; excel at motivating and encouraging others.Superior customer service and communication skills.Ability to implement and ensure that sales staff follow detailed policies and procedures in processing a wide range of documents related to car sales.Represent the company successfully and deal effectively with current and prospective customers, clients and others outside the company.Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate sales department activities with conjunction with company strategy and goals.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
