Shift : Days, 10-Hour Shifts (6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM or 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM) | 40-Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements : Every Third Weekend

On-Call : 1–2 Nights Per Week

A Midland, MI hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room RN (CVOR) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role provides direct patient care during cardiac procedures, ensures patient safety, and leads the OR team.

Position Overview

Assess surgical patients and develop individualized care plans, implementing and evaluating care throughout procedures

Supervise OR activity, assemble equipment, monitor the sterile field, and assist anesthesia as needed

Communicate with patients, families, physicians, OR team, and ancillary departments

Participate in staff development, educational meetings, and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

Required :

3+ years CVOR / OR experience

Open Heart Surgery experience

Travel experience

BLS (AHA) current

Preferred :

Leadership or preceptorship experience
